SOKUDO (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") is a database service for actual mobile network speeds overseas, operated by BeaconLink (beaconlink.jp). This Privacy Policy explains what information the Service collects, and how it is used and protected.
This service does not require account registration, and we do not intentionally collect any information that directly identifies individual users (such as names or email addresses).
The following information is collected when a user runs a speed test and posts the results.

If you are simply browsing the pages of this service, we do not collect speed measurement data. However, the following information may be automatically recorded in the web server’s access logs:
This information is collected as part of the normal operation of a web server and is not intended to identify specific individuals.
When you start the speed test, a browser location permission dialog may appear. This is to ensure that the test location is recorded accurately.
We use an external service (ipapi.co) to estimate your approximate location based on your IP address. Please note that this estimate is not very accurate and may differ significantly from your actual location.

IP addresses and reverse-lookup hostnames are stored in the database but are not displayed on public pages such as speed databases, rankings, or feeds. This information is accessible only to the service operator via the admin panel and is used to verify and improve the accuracy of our assessments.

This service provides an iframe widget for embedding speed data on external websites. The embedded widget calls this service’s API to display data and does not collect any additional personal information from visitors to the site where the widget is embedded.
This service does not set its own cookies for speed testing or database functions.

Since this service does not use an account-based system, it is technically difficult to identify and delete specific posts by individual users. However, if you wish to have a specific post deleted, please contact us with details such as the posting date and time and the measurement results, and we will address your request to the best of our ability.
This service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under the age of 13 has posted information through this service, we will promptly delete the relevant data.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect the data we collect from unauthorized access, tampering, and disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee the complete security of communications over the Internet.
The data for this service is managed on servers located in Japan. However, due to the use of external services (such as Cloudflare and ipapi.co), data may be routed through servers located outside of Japan.
